I received a great many views to my shop from this feature. When I went to thank her via Facebook I found out she is holding a giveaway, and so I am spreading the word and encouraging you to enter. Grace lives with her young family on a flower farm in southeastern Tasmania, otherwise known as the Apple Isle. For those of you from faraway lands, this is the little island state off to the south of Australia which foreigners are always leaving off our map! It is the part of Australia which most reminds me of England - rolling green hills, plenty of grey rainy days, apple orchards, dry stone walls etc etc. (One of these days I hope to get down there to visit my friends Matt and Amy and their 4 kids in Longford)

Grace's blog is full of photographs of the native flowers she grows to sell - waratah, grevillia, banksia and so on. As well you can see some beautiful shots of the countryside where she resides, and glimpses of her art studio. Grace's flower art kind of reminds me of Margaret Preston.
I highly recommend you heading over for the giveaway, and stopping to soak in the atmosphere.

As part of the giveaway I had to choose my favourite item from her shop, and I already had one! This print once again reminds me of England.
We made linoprints in art class at school, but mine never turned out anything like this....
