The ones I have been making all have 50% or more Australian sellers, so that they qualify for the Australian front page. I should point out that Etsy users with their region set to Australia see the prices in Aussie dollars (no pesky conversions) and they see a specially chosen Australian front page when they log in.
The website www.tools4etsy.com provides information on which treasuries have been on the front page of www.etsy.com. I found out I have made 153 treasuries, of which 17 have been chosen for the front page.
To put the treasuries in my blog, I used a nifty tool found here. If you'd like to know more about how to put a treasury in your blog, just let me know and I will try to help.

This one I made on a whim. I quite like Danish design, and I would love to come across a teak sideboard in an op shop one day. Dream on!'Danish Design'

So I read a thread in the Etsy forums where a seller of "supply" items (things used for crafting) was bemoaning the fact that supplies are never featured on the front page. Never one to shy away from controversy, I jumped into the discussion with some examples of beautiful wool, beads and fabric that have been seen on the Australian front page. I told the seller that his items would make great front page material, since they are white, and it is a running joke that whoever picks the front page treasury likes a pale, washed out kind of look. Then I had a good idea - I could put the supply seller in a treasury. Lo and behold it made the front page! The seller was very impressed and I think I have made a new friend.

I like it because it includes actual green items (colour) as well as environmentally friendly items - so the heading is a pun. The green muslin baby wraps in the top left corner are made in my old home town of Wagga Wagga.

And finally, my tribute to Calamity Jane. I made this while watching the movie last night, and singing along. It is not quite as "colour co-ordinated" as I would have liked, since it is more difficult to make the treasury look cohesive if there is a theme to follow. I tried to match the brown from Calamity's fringed jacket with the yellow of the daisy, with a little bit of red thrown in to match her neckerchief. I wanted to put in a corset like Adelaide Adams' pink fluffy one, but they were all a bit too raunchy!
Making treasuries is very relaxing. They take me from five minutes to half an hour to construct, depending on how fussy I am feeling. You should try making a treasury one day, you can keep it private or share it with the world, it's up to you. I would recommend making it public because it is lovely to read everyone's comments underneath.
